Special Summer Programs- D&S Karate offers weekly programs all summer long from 9-5 for beginners through experienced martial artists.  We even offer a teen leadership mentor program. Registration Form

Location- D&S Karate Studios is located in the Cherry Tree Shopping Center at Routes 29 and 216 in Laurel Maryland.

The Owner- Sensei Seth Ismart is a 4th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and has trained in multiple Martial Arts holding rank in Ju-jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, and American Kempo and is experienced in Aikido, Modern Arnis, and Krav Maga.

Day & Evening Classes- Beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes are offered in the day and evening. The women’s self-defense program builds confidence and specializes in techniques for women.

Programs

Our program teaches the Korean Martial Art of Tang Soo Do. Tang Soo Do incorporates a variety of striking techniques using the feet and hands. We also teach the Japanese Martial art of Ju-jitsu. In this style, a combination of balance, momentum, joint locks, and throws are used to overcome any size opponent.

Students of all ages and physical abilities develop self-defense skills while improving their fitness, focus, flexibility, coordination, etc.

Students have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in a classroom setting, in a test environment, as well as at area tournaments.

We keep our class sizes small to have lots of individual instruction to help our students learn all their skills correctly so they can safely practice what they have learned.

Youth Programs- With a degree in education and training as a childhood educator Sensei Seth uses games like Sensei Says (Simon Says) to help children learn karate while having fun. Children gain confidence and discipline while building their skills and making friends.
